WOD – Tabata Legs 137
This Tabata variation will be 8 rounds consisting of the following 4 exercises:
– Jumping Air Squats
– Mountain Climbers
– Jumping Lunges
Time Needed: 16 minutes
Equipment Needed: None
Focus Areas: Cardio, gluteus maximus, hamstrings, quadriceps
Tabata is a highly effective form of interval training, where one works for 20 seconds, followed by a 10 second rest, at which point the work resumes again for 20 seconds and 10 second rest, repeating as prescribed.
This Tabata will be performed one exercise at a time (ie. 20s Sprints, 10s REST, 20s Sprints, 10s REST, etc for six more iterations, and then you will move on to the next exercise (Jumping Air Squats), which you will perform 8 rounds of, then repeat for Mountain Climbers and Jumping Lunges.
